The company was started in 2014 by the owners who recognized that the total number of distressed properties in Clarendon County, SC. was one too many and steady growing. Looking deeper into the situation they soon uncovered one of the major root causes of the then steady rising distressed property epidemic. They discovered that while there were plenty of qualified licensed real-estate professionals to assist the wonderful citizens of Clarendon County with the buying and selling of their beautiful retail homes, none of them specialized in the buying and selling of 'distressed' properties. As a result of their findings and their desire to be a part of the solution to the problem, API was formulated and born!
