Our "Byteman" wears several hats:
Our "Byteman Proofreader" has been praised as the best proofreader that the author of "On Higher Ground" has worked with. He is available to proof your documents, especially fantasy and similar genres. Even when he is reading for fun, he is proofreading. His Verbal score was 630 on the GRE (Graduate Record Examination) in 1996 (up from 550 in 1976, up from 500 on the SAT in 1968). Yes, he is a true proofreader, he does not depend on electronic spellcheck but reads every word.
Our "Byteman Programmer" is an old-style programmer and amateur mathematician, who originally cut his teeth on programming back in 1969 (Fortran), 1971 (Cobol) and 1977 (BASIC). One of his early programs, a Star Trek game for microcomputers, spread nationwide in 1978. His Quantitative score was 800 on the GRE in 1996 and 1976 (and on the SAT in 1968).
Our "Byteman Puzzle Designer" creates puzzles for web and print publication, usually with BASIC, PHP or ASP programs. Frequently he also writes programs to solve puzzles, to be sure the answers are unique. Such a program proved that one of Games Magazine's "Bottom Lines" puzzles had 16 answers. His Analytical score was 750 on the GRE in 1996.
He is available to telecommute to clients around the world.
