Alternative Transportation Shop & Race Team

Alternative Transportation (www.alttrans.net) is a Beaufort, NC bicycle shop. We are proud to be a Giant Bicycles dealer and offer sales and service on all brands of bikes (now including Black Market, Spank, Surly, Cogburn, Heller, All-City, Foundry, Civia, Flybikes, Radio, Stolen, Sunbrosa and We The People), replacement parts, upgrade components, professional fitting service and rentals. We are also part of the Giant Bicycles Grass Roots Race Team program with our diverse co-ed racers participating in various on and off road bicycle racing disciplines and triathlons.
We also support our local skating community with a variety of complete boards, decks and components AND electric boards!
In addition to bicycles and other sporting equipment, we rent and service golf carts and offer pickup and delivery throughout the Crystal Coast.
We are located in historic Beaufort on the corner of Live Oak St. and Lennoxville Rd. (the old Gaskills Hardeware building), come by and check us out!
