Altrusa House

~ A HOME AWAY FROM HOME ~

Altrusa House is a 12-bedroom non-profit hospitality house. For a nominal registration fee, we provide convenient, compassionate and homelike lodging for families and patients who travel to Green Bay due to a medical emergency, surgery or outpatienttreatment at one of these local hospitals.

Guests make arrangements to stay through the contact person at the hospital where they are staying. The hospital personnel will call the Altrusa House to check availability. Guests bring the Altrusa House Referral Form (signed at the hospital) to the house. Registration hours at the House are 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Our supportive, knowledgeable staff and volunteers are always available to help. Guests have access to a fully-equipped common kitchen and laundry room, and share a living room and cable TV on each floor.

Our facility offers a safe, peaceful “home away from home” where guests can cook meals, launder clothes, watch television, access WiFi, chat with staff and other guests, or just enjoy a bit of peace and quiet in the privacy of their own room.
