Saturday Classes/Bible Studies for Young and Old
(See varying start times)

Cradle Roll
Cradle Roll is for ages 1 week to 4 years old and meets at 9:35. There is always a theme for all four season to teach the children that Jesus created the world. Themes include “We like to go the
farm,” “I am a helper,” “Jesus as a child,” “The birth of Christ,” and “The Ocean,” which is the kids’ favorite. We try to have at least fifteen songs with something for the kids to do with each one. We also tell a Bible story and have kids recite their memory verses.
By the time kids are four years old, they have gone through the whole Bible four times. Leader: Jean Bruce.

Kindergarten
Kindergarten is for ages 4-7 and begins at 9:30. Our mission is to encourage and develop a deep love for God so that children will trust and follow Him. We lead the children through many stories in the Bible. We use songs, felts, and hands-on activities to keep the attention and make fun this precious learning time. Leader: Deborah Gendke.

Primary
Primary is designed for ages 7-9 years. We start singing at 9:15, but the door opens at 9:00. Children are encouraged to be early. There are mission stories, nature stories, prayer, and the Bible lesson. Children are encouraged to learn the memory verse and study the lesson during the week so they can participate. The goal is to present Jesus in such a way that children want to have a relationship with Him. Leader: Judy Stockton.

Juniors
Juniors is for children in grades 5-7 and meets from 9:30 - 10:30 am. In cooperation with the Children's Sabbath School Department, we seek to introduce our children to Jesus as their lifelong friend. We strive to show how the Bible and the doctrines of the Seventh-day Adventist Church tell us about Jesus. Our program consists of singing, prayer, and sharing time; a character-building story or feature; lesson study; and a Bible-based game or drill. Leader: Melody Snow.

Youth/Teens
Youth/Teens is a class for ages 13 - 17. We meet at 9:15 in the sanctuary with the adults for opening exercises, and then we move to our classroom at 9:50 for Bible study/Sabbath School. Once a month youth participate in an outing to the Alvarado Nursing Home to sing for the residents and following have a group social with snacks and activities. Leader: Terrie Bayless.

Collegiate Sabbath School
This is a Bible study for college students. We meet in the gym at 9:30 and study the adult Sabbath School quarterly. Leader: Wil Reyna.

Young Adult Sabbath School (or Young at Heart)
This is a discussion-based Bible study for young adults or those who are young at heart. Participants tend to be in their twenties and thirties, but we welcome any who would like to try our class. Leader: Buc Gendke.
