At Ambos, we are committed to producing both a high quality product and economic empowerment for artisans around the world. We believe that quality must be on point because commerce is the engine with the greatest potential in addressing the many challenges that accompany extreme poverty. Currently, we foster business collaborations with artisans in Guatemala where there is a 54% poverty rate.

Ambos only operates under the following principles: conducting business ethically through sustainable and excellent wages for employees, exceptional working conditions and environments, collaboration with artisans as self-sustained business owners and operators, and continued dialogue with local communities for improvements to our model. We refuse to engage in any business practices that do not follow this model exactly and all business with artisans is conducted in the local language, Spanish - not through translators.
