I believe that understanding the connection between the mind and the body is crucial for fundamental psychological change. Thus, my goal is to help individuals realize the power of the mind and to discover how our thoughts about ourselves and the world around us impact our feelings, relationships and overall health. By being mindful of how each unique area of our lives impacts us, we can then be truly healthy - both emotionally and physically. In accordance, my specialty in Health Psychology allows me to comprehensively help individuals cope with the diagnosis of medical conditions and make lifestyle changes.

I am also dedicated to working with individuals who have experienced trauma. Gaining a better understanding of the biological and psychological repercussions of trauma helps individuals get to a healthier, happier place mentally. Each experience involves many emotions. I help individuals navigate through these those emotions and find their path.

I have a great deal of experience working with adults as well as adolescents. I work with teens and their families to increase positive healthy behaviors, reduce stress, improve their mood, and enhance communication skills. Recognizing that each individual is different, I modify my approach to fit individuals' needs.
