The Triad Office of the American Heart Association / American Stroke Association is located in Greensboro and serves the Triad and surrounding counties. We are focused on raising vital funds for heart disease and stroke research and prevention education programs. Heart disease is the number one killer of both men and women in the U. S. and stroke is the fourth leading killer in our country. However, heart disease and stroke are largely preventable. We can make a difference in alerting our community to the warning signs of heart disease and stroke and working within our community to focus on the seven risk factors that can prevent heart disease and stroke. We also raise funds for the groundbreaking research around heart disease and stroke, with some of this amazing research happening right here in the Triad. We can save lives with your help!
