American Heritage Family Farm is a small family owned and operated farm in the North Central part of Oklahoma. We started with a desire to produce most if not all of our own food, as we wanted quality, clean, humanely produced food that was as good for the soul as it was for the body. We enjoy growing so much our production has increased and we now offer the excess to others who appreciate the best Mother Nature has to offer. Our farm offers grass fed, free range meats, lots of vegetables, and artisanal items that make life more enjoyable and allow us to live a more sustainable life in tune with Mother Nature. We grow and provide for our animals the way Mother Nature intended. If Mother Nature did not intend for an animal to eat it -they do not. No chemicals, hormones, growth stimulants, etc. Our vegetables are grown naturally with no pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. We use organic standards in regard to any products used in the gardens.

Our poultry have a free choice buffet of grains in addition to pastures. This is neccessary to meet their dietary requirements. Our feeds are NON GMO and contain no animal bi-products. Our feed mill tests every batch of feed for GMO, pesticides,herbicides, molds, toxins, etc. The grains come from farmers making the transition to organic and are in the process of becoming organically certified. Although the grain is not certified organic, it is basically the same thiing as organic. It is further balanced with important minerals and natural probiotics.

Animals are grown on pastures, never in confinement. Our livestock are treated humanely and with respect from birth to processing. They are processed in a family owned and operated Animal Welfare Approved Processing Facility, which has awards for exceptional food handling practices and is also USDA certified.

We invite everyone to get to know us and become part of our farm community. We will keep you updated on happenings at the farm through this site, as well as informed about the week’s offerings from the farm. We invite our customers to meet each other and coordinate pickups from the farm, etc. We will gladly put you in touch with others from your area if desired. We encourage customers in our extended area of Edmond, OKC, Norman, Tulsa, Wichita, etc. to form buying groups for combined pickups, etc. We encourage sustainable living, helping each other, and caring for our planet together!
