American Legion Post 331 Stone Harbor NJ

Since our activation in 1945, Stephen C. Ludlam Post 331 of the American Legion has been welcoming veterans from all branches of our Armed Forces. Post 331 represents both Avalon and Stone Harbor, as well as some We support military personnel currently serving our country and look back on help veterans through out our Nation’s history. We keep alive the memories of their mission and sacrifice for justice, freedom, and democracy. And we maintain the principles of the Preamble to the Constitution of The American Legion.

Our Post has a long history, beginning as Tatham Life Saving Station in 1854. In 1948, American Legion Post331 purchased this station, the oldest building in Stone Harbor.Stephen C. Ludlam Post 331 of the American Legion
