American Management Corporation (AMC) has grown from small-town roots over 60 years ago into a highly respected and specialized national managing general agency. AMC began with a specialized program for service stations and convenience stores, later expanding to fuel marketers. By developing a top-rated, nationwide program for service stations and then for fuel marketers, it allowed AMC to implement our plans for aggressively growing into the next century.
In 2001, AMC expanded our product base by adding an Excess & Surplus (E&S) market nationwide to our offerings. Today all E&S business is processed through AMC’s Brokerage Division, a change that came about after the 2004 purchase of two MGA’s in Scottsdale, Arizona. Today, AMC can offer over 25 E&S insurance companies to those that have access to our markets.
In addition to all of the markets, AMC also offers many services as well. AMC’s goal is to be a “one-stop shop” for our partners. The key to AMC’s success has been our ability to diversify, aggressive plans for growth, and unmatched service to agents, brokers, policyholders, associations and insuring partners.
