Amesbury Montessori

Amesbury Montessori is a preschool and kindergarten serving Amesbury, Newburyport, Newbury, West Newbury, Merrimac, Haverhill, Salisbury and the Merrimack Valley.

Our program is composed of children ages 2.9 to 6 years. In this setting the children naturally respect each other's work and individual accomplishments. They take an active role in maintaining their environment, which is divided into five main areas: practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics and cultural. The Montessori curriculum is enriched with science, art and music/movement experiences. The curriculum meets the children's fundamental need for independence, language, discovery through the senses and investigation of the world around them.
