Amir's Garden

Amir's Garden is a shady rest stop & memorial garden for Griffith Park hikers & equestrians that has been cared for by official volunteers since its creation in 1971. The plant palette consists primarily of water-bearing, fire-resistive succulents interspersed with natives and memorial trees and plants.

Amir's Garden is a rest stop and not a dedicated picnic area, therefore it can't be reserved for events. The nearest restrooms are located at Mineral Wells Picnic Area.

Normal activities related to the care of a large garden may be taking place at any time, including watering.
