Pictures capture something that we cannot, specifically those moments you want to treasure most.
My senior year of high school, I became friends with an incredible photographer that had a deep passion for telling people's stories. The way she talked about loving other people was like nothing I had ever heard of before. I want to do the same.
I was so crazy insecure and afraid of what other people thought of me, and I believed that I was not worth looking at. I hated getting in front of the camera for fear of what I would see on the other side. From that initial fear and insecurity sprouted a hope and dream, like beauty from ashes.
Pictures are my thing. They speak something to me like nothing else could. My hope is that I would be able to love the people in front of the camera, by how I treat them from behind it. Each person has something to say, something worth listening to, a story worth telling, a life worth living. From families to seniors and weddings, each of them involve the beauty of Life. With all its insecurities and challenges and successes and triumphs and fears and love! I love to be apart of that story, to take a minute and bask in the beauty of it ALL. One captured moment after another.
