Amy E. Tuominen, DVM

Dr. Amy Tuominen is a large animal veterinarian serving western and central Massachusetts. Dr. Tuominen is a strictly mobile vet and takes care of all your large animals. She's also able to provide annual health exams and vaccines for your pets.
Dr. Tuominen was born and raised in MA and attended UMass-Amherst for her undergraduate degree in Animal Science and then spent a couple years as the herdsman for a dairy farm in Shelburne. She decided to continue on with her education and attended the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island for her veterinary degree. Upon graduation, she decided to return to western MA and establish her own large animal practice.
Dr. Tuominen is licensed in MA and has her USDA accreditation. She's an active member of the American Association of Bovine Practitioners, the American Association of Small Ruminant practitioners and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Regular appointment hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Dr. Tuominen provides emergency services for large animals after hours and on weekends.
Payment is required at time of service and Dr. Tuominen accepts cash, checks and major credit cards.
