Through private counseling sessions, Amy Shapiro Consulting assists students in finding their best possible college match. Our broad range of services include educational consulting, appropriate college list strategy, application, essay and interview preparation, introductions to the college representatives themselves, resume building, portfolio preparation, scholarship help and more.

Amy has a total of ten years counseling experience, eight specifically as a College Counselor, both in private and public schools in Miami and New York City. Amy has worked with students from all stages of the college process and truly believe that each student has a perfect college match. Before earning her Masters in Counseling and Guidance from New York University and her Certificate in College Counseling and Admissions from the Harvard University Summer Institute, Amy was a Book Publicist at Penguin Books and Simon and Schuster. The connections she has made throughout her career with numerous College Admissions Representatives have proved invaluable.

Although she is based in Miami, Amy has taken on a handful of international students who are seeking admission to colleges/universities across the United States. Our sessions are held via secure video conference and have proven very rewarding for these students. For those who are not local to the Miami area, please keep this opportunity in mind.
