Anchor Bay is a census-designated place in Mendocino County, California. It is located 3.5mi northwest of Gualala, at an elevation of 105 feet . The racial makeup of Anchor Bay was 301 (88.5%) White, 2 (0.6%) African American, 5 (1.5%) Native American, 2 (0.6%) Asian, 1 (0.3%) Pacific Islander, 12 (3.5%) from other races, and 17 (5.0%) from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 29 persons (8.5%).The Census reported that 340 people (100% of the population) lived in households, 0 (0%) lived in non-institutionalized group quarters, and 0 (0%) were institutionalized.There were 174 households, out of which 25 (14.4%) had children under the age of 18 living in them, 85 (48.9%) were opposite-sex married couples living together, 11 (6.3%) had a female householder with no husband present, 6 (3.4%) had a male householder with no wife present.
