The summer camp will run for four weeks for the month of July. Each week of camp will give children a chance to explore and grow deeper in their faith through devotions, fellowship, and bible time filled with bible stories, music, games, and activities. The children will also engage in camp activities including arts and crafts and recreation. Each week will focus on a specific theme that the children would engage in throughout the week. For example, theater week children will spend time each day working to put on a show for the parents on the final day of camp. Parents are allowed to choose which weeks they sign their children up for.

Sports Camp (July 5th-July 8th)
Children will enjoy 4 days filled with high-energy fun. Each day the children will have the chance to learn and play different sports. With the help of high schoolers who play sports such as soccer, lacrosse, and more, children will learn the skills, rules, and techniques to different sports throughout the week. They will also have the chance to experience games such as kickball, ultimate Frisbee, and volleyball. The children will also enjoy sports inspired snacks and fun crafts each day. Their worship time and bible stories will focus on stories of strength, endurance, and perseverance and how these can play a role in sports. The children will also learn about good sportsmanship and how they can use that on and off the field.

Science, Crafts, Cooking…oh my! (July 11th-15th)
During this week of fun children will have the opportunity to try new things as each day focuses around a new skill or activity. One day will be dedicated to arts and crafts. The children will have numerous opportunities to try different crafts as well as use different objects to complete their crafts. Another day will be focused on science where children will not only watch experiments, but will become mini scientists themselves. A different day that week will center around the kitchen as children become chefs as they learn to make some yummy snacks. On the fourth day the children will become part of their own game show, Minute to Win It. The children will be divided into teams and will be faced with multiple tasks they will have to overcome to be the champions. Our final day is known as building, board games, and bubbles. The children will have the chance to build with more than just blocks as they are presented with objects they may not have thought to build with before. We will also have a time for the children to play different board game favorites. To top off our fun day, the children will spend time playing with bubbles, and may even be put inside a bubble themselves. Since this week is on of different skills and activities, our bible stories and worship time will focus on the fact God has blessed each of us with our own unique gifts that He will use in beautiful ways.

Media Camp (July 18th-22nd)
During this awesome week of camp children will have the opportunity to get in front of and behind the camera! Throughout the week the children will learn about what it takes to create a news broadcast and will have the chance to make one of their own. Using stories from the bible the children will create the stories, interviews, and news reels themselves to put together a news package that will be shown to parents on the last day of camp. This week is also great for children who want to learn more about what goes on behind the scenes of a newscast. For our bible story and worship time the children will enjoy Christmas in July. They will learn about the true meaning behind Christmas and why we celebrate this wonderful holiday!

Theater Camp (July 25th-29th)
For our final week of camp, children will be practicing throughout the week to put on their own show. The children will learn all about what goes on behind the scenes in order to put on a show. They will be introduced to acting, dancing, and singing through some favorite Disney songs and scenes. They will also learn theater techniques such as improv and pantomime through fun theater games. The children will also have the opportunity in arts and crafts to have a hand in making props and scenes for their show. On Friday the parents are invited to come see all the hard work their children put in to prepare their show as they perform all that they learned! For our bible story and worship time this week, we will be focusing on Sermon on the Mount. Each day we will choose a passage from this part of the Bible to spend time learning more about.
