Anderson County Free To Be Me Mentoring

AYS (Anderson Youth Speaks) was launched at the request of some youth involved in PUSHING GRACE-GEM program. We are excited that our youth have spoken and expressed what they want to be involved in. We decided to launch Anderson Youth Speaks as a political organization because our ultimate goal is to attract those youth in Anderson County that have natural qualities of leaders and would like to go into some type of public service field. We want them to have an array of knowledge so that their options are unlimited. Our Goals are as follows: 1. To get Anderson Youth involved in Politics. 2. To get Anderson Youth passionate about their community. 3. To help Anderson Youth develop public speaking skills that will encourage motivational speak, life coaching and perhaps Mass media career choices. 4. To give Anderson Youth a positive, safe, nurturing, loving and caring environment that will allow them to be free and explore different avenues that they otherwise might not afford the chance to do.
