Andrew has deep roots in Lamoille County. His knowledge of, and passion for, the area are apparent. A fourth-generation Vermonter, Andrew refers to the place where he lives as his "Spiritual Ground". He loves living here. And as a lifelong outdoorsman he is intimately familiar with the forests, the dirt roads, the rivers and the wildlife of the Green Mountains. He understands what "here" is.

Andrew brings a strong work ethic, energy, and integrity to all of his real estate interactions.

Before moving into his role as a real estate agent - a role that he refers to as "the job of a lifetime" - Andrew spent many a late winter and early spring working with his grandfather in the family's Waterville sugarbush. He has also made a living in the fields of landscaping and construction. All hard work, but Andrew likes a challenge.

It's no surprise, then, that he was so successful in mentoring at-risk youth. Working one-on-one for several years, in both residential and public school settings, Andrew provided structure and support: modeling consistency and confidence as he taught the kids that he was with the social and life-skills that they were in need of...

And he picked up a few life-skills of his own.

"Working with kids deepened my sense of empathy," he says, "and it taught me that if I wanted to be trusted and listened to, I had to listen first."

It's this kind of insight and sincerity that make Andrew such a great agent to work with.

Outside of pursuing his passion for real estate, Andrew spends plenty of quality time with his family - his two year old son, Blaine, is his "reason for everything now". It's also a safe bet, on any given day off, that he'll be hiking in the woods somewhere with his dog, Hunter. Or swinging a baseball bat. Andrew prefers to be active. It's a full life and, he says, "That's how I like it."
