Welcome to AnnieMaeDesign! I am an artsy, outgoing person who discovered my love of sewing several years ago. I began with Regency dresses, then went on the 1860's. I can't even count the number of all-nighters I've pulled getting ready for some ball or reenactment. I sewed for my family, friends, and for total strangers.

Although I still enjoyed sewing Civil War ball gowns, I absolutely LOVE working with less than 15 yards of fabric per outfit! So I began sewing modern skirts, jackets, and purses for myself. I adore Vera Bradley, but being a student, I can't afford every cute little clutch that she makes. So I make my own. And thus my love of purses and bags began! Image my delight when one of my purses was confused with my inspiration, Vera Bradley!

My desire is to make custom purses and accessories for people. Wether it's vintage, rustic, or modern. I love brainstorming how to make items antique with a modern twist.
