An elegant blend of native wood, glass and stone, 180-seat Anthony Chapel offers a sanctuary for reflection and rejuvenation of the spirit to visitors to the 210-acre Garvan Woodland Gardens.
The majestic chapel and its four accompanying structures - Millsap Bride's Hall, Evans Groom's Quarters, Evans Celebration Garden, and the Anthony Family Carillon - were designed by acclaimed architects Maurice Jennings and David McKee of the Fayetteville firm founded by E. Fay Jones, an internationally recognized student of Frank Lloyd Wright.
Construction of the $5.8 million Anthony Chapel Complex was funded entirely through private donations. Construction began in September 2004, and a dedication was held on September 30, 2006.
