Antioch is a multicultural United Methodist congregation located in Fairburn, GA. Our humble beginning started in 1834 with a small group of men and women gathering in various homes for worship. Later, land was purchased from surrounding land owners in the years 1879, 1888 and 1895, totaling seven acres.
The building, in which we now worship, was built to withstand years of service; and today, it is still a solid structure. Windows in the church were salvaged from Trinity Methodist Church in downtown Atlanta when it relocated across from the capitol. Later, additional projects were completed to include a kitchen, new bathrooms and a study for the pastor.
