ABOUT US:

Madeleines - also known as petite madeleine - is a type of sponge cake which originated in France. Two communes of Lorraine, in the northeast region of France, are credited for its early beginning: Commerce and Liverdun. Madeleines has a distinctive shell-like shape acquired from pans, with shell-shaped depressions, they are baked in.

A'Petit -The Madeleine Cakeshop- is the brain works of yours truly, Josielene Abad. It is a start-up business, in the southwest area of Las Vegas, NV, with the plans of going regional. The business is newly born but my passion for madeleines is eight years in the making. It began with a craving in 2008 when I was expecting my third child. No madeleine on the market tastes satisfying to my palate. I rolled up my sleeves and began baking them. Now that I have found the right balance of the ingredients, I am proud to say that my madeleines are praised and well-liked by countless people.
