Apex School of Dance

Our mission at Apex School of Dance is to provide the Apex and surrounding communities with preprofessional, classical dance training at a national level. We understand the importance of classical ballet training as the basis of any form of dance so we provide training in both of the Vaganova and western methods of ballet. We also understand the benefits of ballet for athletes wanting to achieve proper coordination, flexibility, strength, and balance in almost any sport from figure skating to soccer. We offer beginning ballet classes for athletes and stretch and strength sessions, as well.

We are a performance-based studio that encourages performance opportunities of all kinds and offers opportunities to perform with Apex Ballet Theatre (our in house company) at least twice a year, Carolina Ballet at least once a year and going to national and international dance competitions as well as other community events and outreach programs all being lead by our highly trained faculty dedicated to improving the quality life for each, individual student.

We strive to provide a healthy learning atmosphere of growth and development for students and families alike. We believe by providing a preprofessional training institution that we will encourage our youth to build self-esteem and enable them to be strong, confident individuals in their everyday life through respect and dedication for their craft, whatever their goals my be.
