Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

The Apostles are a women's religious congregation. Founded in Italy in 1894, our Generalate remains in Rome but we now serve on five continents. The United States Provincialate is located in Hamden, CT. In the U.S., we currently minister in Connecticut (Archdiocese of Hartford, Diocese of Bridgeport, Diocese of Norwich); the Archdiocese of New York NY; the Diocese of Pittsburgh, PA; the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee, FL; and the Archdiocese of St. Louis, MO. Our ministries include education, pastoral and diocesan ministry, healthcare, and social services.
