A Christian poverty relief organization, affiliated with Carson-Newman University and located at 511 Municipal Drive, in Jefferson City, Tennessee. Its' ministries include the Appalachian Outreach Ministries Center (home repair, clothing, food, furniture, addiction recovery, job training, Christian counseling, recycling, children and Hispanic ministries),the AO Donation Center, the Samaritan House Family Ministries Center (homeless shelter for families and single women), A.O.includes a sister (but separate tax exempt) organization, The Second Source Thrift Store.
