Appleseed Community Mental Health Center, Inc. is a not for profit community mental health agency.
Appleseed wishes to maximize an individual’s existing strengths, focus on solutions and create a supportive environment for people suffering from mental illness. This is in contrast to focusing on existing weaknesses, problems, and creating an environment not chosen by the individual.
Appleseed will attempt to serve individuals in the least restrictive, most appropriate environment possible.
Appleseed seeks to address the needs of all Ashland County residents, including the needs of the general public and the needs of people with severe mental disability, as identified both in the Ashland County Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services’ community plan and through Appleseed’s needs assessment activities.
