Appleton Volunteer Fire Department

The Appleton Volunteer Fire Department is consisted completely of volunteers. These volunteers are the first responders for the Appleton Alabama Community. The volunteer firefighters are continuously trained in such courses as: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Fire College Courses (same courses as career firefighters are required to take) and Safety Guideline Procedures. These are just some of the trainings courses taken to ensure the safety of the Appleton community and their fellow firefighters. The AVFD knowingly risk their lives each and every time a 911 call is responded too. The AVFD help and save lives in Appleton by putting people, in the community, first before themselves. So I would like to say a special thank you to all the first responders of Appleton Alabama, “Thank you for being our First Responders and risking your lives!!”
