My name is Amy Kordula. I trained with one of the best Master Instructors with Infant Swimming Resource in 2002, Amy Pritchett. Since then, I have taught thousands of safe and effective drowning prevention lessons to help give babies and toddlers an extra layer of added protection to help them survive the "UNTHINKABLE"!

I was very content with being the "stay at home mommy" and never had any intentions of setting new goals for a new career before 2002. But that forever changed when my baby, now 15, used her ISR skills to save herself in a potentially dangerous aquatic situation. You see, just like you, I am the perfect parent. But for a split second in the yard, turning my head, my beautiful little 14 month old had slipped away. It was only seconds. Before I could get to her, she was falling head first in the pool reaching for a toy. As fast as she fell in, she rolled to her back to a float. After the initial fear and loss of words shadowed over me, I said to myself, she's ok... she's breathing. She then proceeded to flip over and grab the wall with a smile! So many thanks to her Instructor Amy Pritchett and Dr. Harvey Barnett for giving her that added layer of protection.

Since then, my life has forever been changed. I knew I had to study hard and achieve my goals of becoming an Instructor to save YOUR babies and toddlers. Being a parent is hard, but we do it with so much love and always want our children to be safe. Keep your babies and toddlers close. But when our eyes fail, we have the door. When the door fails, we have the pool fence. When the pool fence fails, you have Infant Swimming Resource.

Drowning is the number one cause of death in children under the age of 4. Don't wait. Drowning IS preventable. "Not One More Child Drowns".....
