The founding Principals, John P. Sheehy, FAIA, RIBA, William J. Higgins, FAIA, and Sherry Caplan, IIDA, Associate AIA, are former Principals of The Architects Collaborative (TAC), a world renowned pioneering firm founded by Walter Gropius.

Architecture International, founded in 1994, has adopted the Bauhaus tradition of modernism and multi-disciplinary collaboration. The Principals have established a worldwide reputation for the design of urban mixed-use and high-rise residential design for premier clients. The firm has also been involved in such diverse fields as housing, retail, tourism, business, education and government.

John P. Sheehy, FAIA, RIBA, William Higgins, FAIA, and Sherry Caplan, IIDA, Assoc. AIA have been involved on more than 35 projects in Asia. A few selected projects include Xi’an Hi-Tech Business Center, Xian, China; I Park, Seoul, South Korea; and One Legaspi Park, Oakwood Premier/Glorietta 4, Fillipinas Heritage Library, The Residence at Greenbelt, Alabang Town Center, and Golden Empire Tower in Manila.
