Meet Aries Apothecary!

In the summer of 2006 my husband and I had a bouncing baby girl. My pregnancy, like most first time mommies, was dedicated to staying healthy, eating right, and mild workouts; I only wanted the best for my child. My Doctor and I discussed all my natural options for childbirth, and everything was good to go; or so I thought. The night I went into labor, was an unforgettable experience; all my natural delivery plans went out the window.
After our daughter was born, my husband and I looked for natural medicines, and organic foods. I remember that in the early 2000’s Health and Organic foods were on the rise, but there was one problem; “Health Food” prices were high because it was still a new fad. At this time I was 23, and unaware of further options.

In 2009 our son was born, and the baby food processor just came out. This marvelous contraption could be ours for only $200+. However, this time I was not going to let prices get me down. I started going to pharmacies, drug stores, and even herbalists. My first findings were simple teas, such as Green tea was good for concentration, metabolism, and health. I also found that with a regular food processor, our baby could enjoy many of the same meals with us.

As I have gone further into my journey regarding Natural Remedies, I have started my own line of products from herbs, teas, soaps, salves, oils and etc. I sell only what I believe in, and most products are handmade or grown by me here in Virginia Beach, VA. The majority of products I have chosen have some kind of healing properties, or have been made (in my kitchen at home) with natural products. You will not find scientific names on my items such as: methylchloroisothiazolinone(I found on the back of a shampoo bottle), but will instead read: beeswax, marigold, lavender, etc; which is a language we can all understand.

I am always open for change, and I love to learn, especially when it is beneficial to myself, and my family. Recently, I discovered that there are many like myself, and would like to get back to nature. I would love to help you on your journey.
