A Tuition Free Charter High School and K8 in Surprise, AZ, Arizona Charter Academy strives to give all students, regardless of race, creed or socioeconomic status, the tools to learn, the confidence to reach their potential, and the courage to achieve their dreams.

Diversity in our students and staff make us unique and character sets us apart. Believing in their potential, our students have risen above the stereotypes, economic barriers and any other walls that stand in their paths. Components of character education are taught and practiced daily in the classroom and the community at large. Our ultimate goal is to prepare students to become good citizens, hard workers, and lifelong learners whoa re able to reach their goals and dreams.

Our curriculum meets Arizona State Standards and centers on excellence in reading, writing, mathematics, critical thinking, and technology use. Intentionally small classrooms (24:1 student/teacher ratio) promote personal student attention. Supplemental and enrichment programs include: honors courses, dual enrollment with Grand Canyon University, National Honor Society, art, and wide variety of clubs. They are available to students at no additional charge.
