From its easternmost point at the Clinton Bridge adjacent to the Clinton Presidential Library, it travels west on both sides of the Arkansas River to Pinnacle Mountain State Park over the Two Rivers Park Bridge dedicated by Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood.

Once completed, the Arkansas River Trail System will literally connect 88 miles of trails across multiple cities and counties; but the impact will be far greater than just connected lines on a map. Strategically developing this trail is critical to economic development, enhanced livability, environmental sustainability, improved safety and increased health for Central Arkansas and beyond.
