Born and raised in the city of Chicago, Arpita was a natural talent. Even as a child, Arpita expressed an aesthetic genius that has developed throughout her career. For the past eleven years, she has worked on perfecting her craft. She has been able to create classic to avant-garde makeup and hair.

Having had the opportunity to apprentice at an elite salon, Arpita developed her expertise in the latest cutting-edge hair techniques. Even as a licensed cosmetologist, she is investing in continuing education in the latest fashion, hair and makeup trends. As an artist, she is not only influenced by her own experiences but the essence of pop culture and media.

Using her unique skills as an avenue to express her creativity, Arpita soon found herself working on both high-fashion, beauty shoots and in top salons. As a seasoned artist, Arpita has worked with an array of clients demonstrating her versatility and passion.

Arpita has collaborated with many of Chicago's premier photographers. These collaborations have produced stunning images, most notably, appearing in the elite Chicago Magazine in 2008 for the renowned Mario Tricoci Salon and Spa.
