ART Experience

The ART Experience offers different after school classes for different age groups.

I’m An Artist… 4, 5 & 6 yrs.
Age appropriate lessons that introduce drawing and painting. Children will explore the use of markers, chalk, oil pastels and watercolor. Students will learn about line, shape, texture, color, value & space while encouraging personal expression and creativity.

Art Experience- Dürer to Warhol …. 7-11 yrs.
Students will broaden their creativity through the use of different mediums and techniques while also learning about artists and art movements. Classes will include working in markers, watercolor, pastels, pen & ink and collage.

Studio in Art Experience...12-15 yrs.
Art concepts (shading, color, design, composition & more) will be explored while studying subjects such as environmental studies, nature, human culture, far away places, literature based studies and learning about art history and artists.

The Artist Within… 13+ yrs.
Develop your artistic style and voice through personal creativity and content. Work with various artistic mediums and techniques to create your own artwork through observation and personal expression. Projects will include drawing/painting/collage/calligraphy/design/printing.

**Home Schoolers~Whatever lessons/curriculum of study your child/ student/ group is working on can be incorporated into a cross curriculum lesson to enrich both areas of study.**

~Artful Spirits~
Artful Spirits is a creative class for any adult who wants to enjoy a creative atmosphere with others who want to find their creative, playful spirit in the company of great friends and good wine.
Throughout the semester, I will be offering different classes on Friday evenings. One Friday we might be making some sterling jewelry, and on another Friday, we might be painting on canvas and some Fridays might be devoted to creative art journals or canvases that allow you to play with ART and be creative!
