Art Foundation of Desert Hot Springs

The Art Foundation of Desert Hot Springs, CA is a new, 501(c)3 tax exempt, non-profit organization started by a small group of local residents and business owners who care deeply about our city and believe our community can grow and benefit from the arts.

We are currently NOT FUNDED. WE NEED HELP!

We are seeking:

Donations: WE ARE NOW 501(c)3 TAX EXEMPT! ALL DONATIONS ARE NOW TAX DEDUCTIBLE * We are currently accepting donations via GoFundMe.com/afdhs

Founding Benefactor: to cement our organization as a permanent fixture of our city. We wish and hope for some generous visionary to see our great potential and the dire need for our work in Desert Hot Springs. Our city is full of very talented young people, and even some well established artists. Our resources and connections are so limited and our public image is unfairly negative and sensationalized by local media. Please, help us make this city a place where art and culture elevates it’s residents and visitors, broadens their perspectives, and enriches their lives.

Grants: we have grant writers that are working hard to obtain funding. Donated funds are currently going primarily to pay our grant writers.

Volunteers: we have recently recruited 3 new volunteers and we are actively accepting new applicants. Email us at volunteer@artfoundationdhs.org

Promotion & Media Coverage: we are working on putting together a full press kit, and we would appreciate any help we can get on that. Whether you are an anchor on big city primetime news show, or just an avid social media users with a lot of followers, we’d really appreciate any exposure you can give us or tips and advice about how can implement some public relations efforts.
