AMP (art • music • people) works to bring artists and musicians together in the Brownwood area. Currently AMP hosts an open mic night on the third Thursday of each month in partnership with the Brownwood Art Association at the Art Building at 215 Fisk Avenue from 6-10 p.m. Admission is $5 per person, musicians who perform will be admitted for free. AMP has plans to organize other events in the future to bring a fusion of music and art appreciation and celebration to the Brownwood Area.
