ABOUT

I have been painting for 30 years and have worked with acrylics as my a painting composition for 15 years. Most of my paintings are made with watercolor paint, watercolor pencils, charcoal (pastels), acrylic paint, and mixed media. Most of my paintings are covered with several clear, top coats, so that they can be touched and enjoyed. I love to paint. Art is therapy for chronic illnesses I struggle to overcome.

The Southwest is an area that inspires me. With Crohn’s disease, Ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoporosis, I am slower than I used to be, but I refuse to give in! I have days where I have limited use of my hands (and other limbs, etc.), however, when I can use them - I use my good moments to fuel my art!
