Artes de la Rosa is a non-profit organization founded in 2000 to preserve, promote, and present Latino arts, culture, history, and lives in North Texas. It operates the historic Rose Marine Theater and the adjacent Gallery at the Rose Marine. It is nationally recognized for its youth educational program, Artes Academy, that has won awards from the Kennedy Center and the White House, among others.
The organization utilizes the arts as a means and an end to accomplishing its mission. Through its youth program it builds self confidence and communication skills in youth, ages 8 to 18, while instilling in them a knowledge and appreciation for the arts. Its theater company and gallery serve as a gateway into the history, culture, arts, and lives of the Latino community.
