ARTsCENTERed offers classes in a variety of clay bodies, commercial and custom glazes and firing temperatures to students of all ages. ArtCentered provides it students with a spacious well-equipped facility numerous potters wheels, work stations, three large kilns, a commercial slab roller, glazing stations suitable for multiples students working simultaneously, plus all of the other paraphernalia required for making creative and innovative ceramic pottery and art.
A variety of types of clay and clay firing and decoration are offered... including raku, foil saggar, horsehair and feather firing, majolica and numerous glazes suitable for earthenware, stoneware and raku ... many of them custom-formulas. All types of building in clay are taught including wheel, slab, pinch, coil.
