Asheboro Racquet & Swim Club

The Asheboro Racquet & Swim Club serves Randolph County as the only private tennis and swim club. The club is family owned and operated by the Sloyans. We have six acres of fun for families of all ages and stages. There are six supremely maintained clay courts. When the weather permits, we teach through the winter. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, our Olympic-size pool with two diving boards and a slide provide the ideal setting for your summer fun. Both tennis and swimming are great fun and great exercise for a lifetime. The Sloyans have played tennis since childhood and have tripled the number of juniors playing at the club since their purchase in 2010. Patrick has traveled with the Junior Tennis team to other area clubs to compete. The Sloyans teaching philosophy is centered around solid stroke technique and aerobic activity while having fun. We have welcomed children of all abilities and teach children with special needs. Our adults benefit from the same instructional attitude and may also choose to play in club clinics, flights, tournaments, and league play. Between the two centers of activity, there is a pavilion with a snack bar and a sports bar for those of drinking age. Come enjoy a cold beverage while watching your favorite sports on our flat-screen tv. Our swim team is led by members Ben and Megan Morgan. With their leadership, junior swimmers have learned how to swim competitively. The team had the opportunity to compete against other swim teams this year.
