Originally from New Bern, NC, Ashleigh is a graduate of East Carolina University with a BA in history. As a military spouse, she has lived in Atlanta and Japan with her husband who is a career Marine. While living in Japan, she began working on her Masters in Military History and graduated with honors from American Military University after she moved to Beaufort, SC. Falling in love with the beauty of the low country, she decided to become a licensed realtor. Her marine husband and she have three dogs: a Labrador retriever, Brody and, while living in Japan, they could not resist two Yorkshire Terriers, Aoi (碧) and Fuji (富 士山), that stole their hearts and came back to the States with them. The dogs are usually by their side as they explore the pet-friendly areas of Beaufort. As a photographer, Ashleigh loves to take pictures of the area and strives to take the perfect picture of your home that will get it sold. She is hard-working and honest and is delighted to help find you the perfect home.

Southern Living readers consistently rate Beaufort as one of the “Best Small Towns in the South” in the magazine’s annual survey, and the area also makes a regular appearance on lists of the “best places to retire.” Proud to be a bit off the beaten path, Beaufort is often described as a smaller version of its historic big city sisters, Savannah (40 miles to the south) and Charleston (70 miles north).

Beaufort’s year-round temperature averages about 65 degrees. Coastal residents and visitors alike adore the area’s temperate climate, because it allows outdoor recreation twelve months of the year.
