Frank Thornhill has nearly two decades of experience in the Charleston real estate market with scores of successful transactions in residential real estate as well as commercial brokerage. Frank understands his client’s needs and matches them with the ideal real estate investments. He began his real estate career in 1998 working alongside his father. Together they handled all aspects of real estate sales including residential, commercial, large land sales, leasing, and Plantations throughout South Carolina.

Frank knows the Lowcountry, he was born and raised in Charleston and his family has been part of the Charleston landscape for over three generations. A 1995 graduate of Clemson University, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in business with a marketing focus.

After earning his diploma, Frank obtained his Master Mariners Captain license and captained boats traveling the east coast and the Bahamas. Frank’s nearly two decades of Charleston real estate experience provide him with an in-depth understanding of this unique market and his local knowledge is unmatched. Frank lives in the waterfront community of Rockville with his wife Melanie, their three sons, and Birdie the black lab.

Melanie specializes in Charleston's premier residential market. After graduating from Clemson University in 2000 with a degree in Marketing, Melanie returned to her hometown of Charleston to begin her career in Real Estate sales. In 2005 she joined the family Real Estate firm and worked alongside her husband Frank. Together they focused on the sale of numerous waterfront properties and country estates. Melanie looks forward to sharing her unique “local's perspective” and her considerable real estate experience with clients, assisting them with all of their real estate needs.

As an active supporter in her community, Melanie is involved with many local organizations, including: Boy Scouts of America, Clemson Alumni Association, Mount Pleasant Academy Parent Teacher Association, First Baptist School and Grace Episcopal Church. Melanie lives in the historic town of Rockville on Wadmalaw Island with her husband Frank and their three sons.
