About Aspen Wellness

Our mission is to provide complementary and alternative healthcare options to the Santa Fe community at an affordable price. We offer acupuncture treatments in a relaxing, open setting and welcome both appointments and walk-ins. Chinese herbal treatments can be prescribed if appropriate. Massage, cranial sacral therapy, polarity therapy, and reiki are also be available by appointment. We have just created a walking club and weekly Qi Gong Classes will begin Jan 21st, Wednesday at 4:00pm). Classes on nutritious cooking and exercises for back pain are being developed.

About Your Acupuncturist

Rachel Ropp DOM, (Doctor of Oriental Medicine) received her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM. She is fully accredited by the State of New Mexico and licensed to prescribe Chinese herbs and offer Chinese nutritional advice. Rachel was the owner of a successful high volume community clinic in Albuquerque for over 4 years. When her husband, Dr. Andrew Ropp, opened Aspen Medical Center, she decided to give up the commute and return to Santa Fe. She is passionate about the power of oriental medicine to help people improve their health and thrilled to serve her community by providing affordable acupuncture.

Rachel Ropp, has given well over 5000 acupuncture treatments and she is known for her gentle technique. She may select points on the arms, legs, head, neck, abdomen, and back to treat patients who are fully clothed. We ask you to please wear loose clothing so that sleeves and pant legs can be rolled up as necessary. It is typical for patients to fall asleep during their treatments and wake feeling relaxed and refreshed.

About Your Massage Therapist

Stephanie Salazar, LMT, is far more than just a fabulous massage therapist. Her goal is to attend to the whole person in all physical, mental, and spiritual aspects. Stephanie's integrative health practice includes a wide variety of healing modalities including but not limited to: polarity therapy, cranial sacral therapy, reflexology, reiki, essential oils, homeopathy, akabane, moxibustuion, cupping, gua sha, tuning folks, and more.

Cost

Acupuncture treatments at Aspen Wellness will be charged as a $25 flat fee. Cash and credit cards are accepted. Sorry, no checks.

Bodywork sessions are $65 per hour.

We are not taking insurance at this time (which typically has a higher than $25 co-pay).

Punch Card

Ask for a punch card during your acupuncture visit. You will receive 1 free acupuncture treatment after your 10th visit!
