In 2010, after 16 years of knowing that this was a calling I would eventually need to answer, I finally took my big plunge, becoming a full time student of astrology. In the years since, I have traveled throughout the United States to study with many of the world’s most respected astrology teachers, as well as pursued the ample opportunities to study with visiting and local astrology teachers all over the SF Bay Area. I believe no counselor or teacher should ever consider their own education complete! I remain actively engaged in the local and national astrology educational communities, as well as committed to expanding my library of books and the latest research-focused periodicals.

As an Aries, I learn through trial and error. Much of my knowledge comes from casting hundreds of horoscopes and interviewing my subjects as I analyzed these horoscopes. On another level, through meditation and writing, I have gained intimate, nuanced understanding of the energies of the zodiac.

I have been particularly inspired by the philosophy of Evolutionary Astrology, the idea that our souls have incarnated with the intention of spiritual growth, that a person’s horoscope is a map showing the individual soul’s path towards fulfillment of karmic purpose.

I enjoy helping my clients look at their paths from new perspectives. I consider an ideal astrological session to be a collaborative effort in which I help you recognize ingrained approaches that aren’t working, as well as illuminate the skills and talents you may not recognize or be using to full potential.

My ultimate goal in working with clients is to give faith that all life experience has purpose, that all challenges serve as catalysts to change, that the universe is ruled by rhyme and reason.

Each reading is an opportunity for me to celebrate the absolute uniqueness of each life. As the stars and planets are always in motion at varying speeds, the placement of the celestial bodies at any given moment is wholly specific to that moment. Each horoscope, each map of the heavens surrounding the Earth at a particular time and place, is an unrepeatable event, just like each human life…

And each one has so much beauty.
