Thursdays 9:30-10:30am
Sundays 1:00-2:00pm

A barre workout relies mainly on body weight for resistance, but small hand weights and miniballs are used as well. All equipment is provided except you should bring a mat. Every @the Barre class will have the same components, but the workout itself will be different each time. Your instructor will guide you through proper form and alignment and provide modifications where appropriate. The classes are designed to meet all ages, sizes, and fitness levels.

The movements are challenging to your muscles, but kind on your joints. Barre workouts are popular because they really provide results quickly if done with consistency. Be ready to be worked from head to toe especially targeting women's so-called "problem" areas---arms, thighs, seat, abdominals/core. Although many of the exercises are done at the ballet barre, this is NOT a ballet class and NO dance experience is required!
