Welcome to the Facebook page of Atlanta Oral & Facial Surgery (AOFS), Hamilton Mill location, the office of Dr. Chris Jo and Dr. Justin Young. AOFS continuously strives to provide the highest level of surgical care and customer service to our community of patients and referring doctors. AOFS has been established in the Atlanta area for over 35 years, and Dr. Jo has been an established surgeon in the Gwinnett community (Sugarloaf and Hamilton Mill) since 2006, with Dr. Young joining him in 2012.
Dr. Chris Jo trained at the prestigious Emory University School of Medicine’s Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery program. He is further fellowship trained in facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery and served for several years as an Adjunct Professor at both Emory University School of Medicine and the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Young completed his residency training at Thomas Jefferson University, also receiving his medical degree. Both Dr. Jo and Dr. Young are double-board certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and by the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.
Drs. Jo and Young practice the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with a special focus on surgical third molar (wisdom teeth) removal, dental implants, and office-based outpatient anesthesia. Dr. Jo utilizes a minimally invasive, sutureless technique for third molar surgery to minimize post-surgical discomfort and swelling. They perform a wide range of dental implant and bone grafting surgery, from single implant placement to full mouth dental implant reconstruction, working in close conjunction with the restorative dentist.
