COURSES:

CERTIFIED PHLEBOTOMY -

(6 Weeks):

Students will be taught in a "simulated drawing/laboratory station" not just a classroom, preparing the to be ready to work upon completion of the course and after sitting for the NCCT Certification. CLIA, OSHA & NCCLS regulation are taught throughout the course.

CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT -

(8 Weeks):

Students will learn Anatomy & Physiology, Basic Terminology used by CMA's, Charting, Clinical 1 & 2 including pharmacology & injections, all body systems, minor office surgical procedure assisting and EKG. HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA rules and regulations will be studied. CPR is taught and certification is received upon passing course. Administrative Office Procedures are taught allowing Students to follow written orders from Nurses/Doctors and other Health Care Professionals.

CERTIFIED MEDICAL BILLING & CODING -

(8 Weeks):

Subjects covered in this course are ICD-9 (including V and E codes), CPT, HCPCS Codes & for Modifiers, CDT-4 Dental Codes, DRG's (Diagnostic Related Groups). CMS-1500 forms, EHR/EMR: Electronic Health Records/Electronic Medical Records, Computerized Medical Billing,
EOB's, COB's, Insurance Carriers, HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA and OIG Regulations, Pre-Certifications, Referrals, 3rd Party Reimbursements, Anatomy & Medical Terminology, Medisoft Billing & Scheduling Software.

SORA - Security

(4 Days):

SORA (Security Officer Registration Act) is a standardized Security guard training program. The law now requires security officers to register, receive state regulated training, and a background check to work as a security guard in New Jersey. The objectives are to provide training in a variety of subjects directly related to the security and safety of their clients. The knowledge gained through this program offers exposure to fundamental concepts and principles of the security industry. This course is applicable to all security officers as well as former law enforcement personnel tasked with the safety and security for businesses they serve.
