Attorney Nathaniel P. Washburn

I am an associate attorney with Kavanagh, Grumley, & Gorbold LLC in Joliet, Illinois. I joined the firm in May of 2017.

Previously I worked with the firm of Zukowski Law Offices in May of 2011 as an intern while attending Northern Illinois University College of Law. Upon graduating I joined Zukowski Law Offices as an associate in the Fall of 2013 until departing at the end of March 2017.

I earned his law degree from Northern Illinois University College of Law graduating cum laude, in May of 2013. During my 2nd and 3rd years at NIU I served as a research assistant for Instructor & Academic Success Program Coordinator Jeanna Hunter.

I previously graduated cum laude from Illinois Valley Community College with both an Associate in Arts and an Associate in Science degree. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Illinois - Urbana Champaign in political science.

I am a current member of the Illinois Bar Association, LaSalle County Bar Association, LaSalle Excellence Foundation and Illinois Valley Area Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development.

I practice primarily in the areas of general business representation (including business formation, business sales/purchases, annual business filings, and general business counsel), commercial law, not-for-profit organizations, real property (including purchases/sales/leasing of property), estate planning and estate administration.
